About this build v0.2.17

What changed

Independent per-track and master effects racks now use a fixed Filter/EQ → Dynamics → Color signal-chain order.
Effects controls remain hidden until the Effects button at the bottom of the mixer is opened.
Every rack is bypassed by default and currently contains pass-through slots, so this foundation build does not alter the sound.
Rack bypass state persists per song using the new mix-settings schema while older saved mixes remain compatible.
Diagnostics report rack counts, pass-through nodes, active processors, added latency, and routing rebuilds.

Known limitations

The three effects slots are deliberately empty in this foundation build. Filters, parametric EQ, and clean compression arrive in 0.2.18; analog color follows in 0.2.19. The selected song's stems are still decoded fully into browser PCM memory.

Keyboard

Space plays or pauses. Home stops and returns to the beginning. Shortcuts are ignored while a control or text field has focus.

License notice

This build contains original HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no bundled third-party runtime libraries, codecs, fonts, artwork, or songs. No project-wide open-source license has been selected yet. Users are responsible for having the right to use files they load.
