About this build v0.2.7
What changed
- Added a prominent Cancel action to the floating loading panel.
- ZIP indexing, song metadata scans, folder scans, selective extraction, CRC checking, and stem decoding now stop at safe checkpoints.
- Large central directories and CRC checks yield regularly so the cancel control stays responsive.
- A cancelled scan or extraction leaves the currently loaded song intact.
- Cancelling after decoding begins removes partial stems cleanly while retaining the scanned collection.
- Superseded older loads can no longer hide or overwrite the progress and engine status of a newer load.
- Choose another song now stays in the reopened source panel, including after a cancelled decode.
Known limitations
Source sessions last only while this page remains open. Switching ZIP songs reuses the saved index but still extracts and decodes the newly selected song. Browser codec support remains format-dependent, and this build still decodes the selected song's stems fully into PCM memory.
Keyboard
Space plays or pauses. Home stops and returns to the beginning. Shortcuts are ignored while a control or text field has focus.
