About this build v0.2.8
What changed
- Now Playing is structurally separate from the collapsible source loader and remains visible when source controls are closed.
- Artwork, title, artist, metadata, collection status, and Choose another song remain in the persistent card.
- The card now shows live stem count, duration, and decoded-audio memory.
- Game/source and charter metadata use the same readable labels as the large-library browser.
- Audio headers are inspected before decode to identify Ogg Vorbis/Opus, FLAC, WAV, MP3, AAC, MP4/M4A, and WebM containers.
- Extension/header mismatches and unconfirmed signatures now produce specific import warnings.
- Detected container names are included in accepted-file reports and diagnostics.
Known limitations
Source sessions last only while this page remains open. Switching ZIP songs reuses the saved index but still extracts and decodes the newly selected song. Browser codec support remains format-dependent, and this build still decodes the selected song's stems fully into PCM memory.
Keyboard
Space plays or pauses. Home stops and returns to the beginning. Shortcuts are ignored while a control or text field has focus.
License notice
This build contains original HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no bundled third-party runtime libraries, codecs, fonts, artwork, or songs. No project-wide open-source license has been selected yet. Users are responsible for having the right to use files they load.
