About this build v0.2.3
What changed
- Added a prominent floating loading notice with phase details and progress during indexing, metadata scanning, extraction, and decoding.
- Retains the parsed ZIP directory and song metadata after a song is loaded.
- Retains selected folder file references and its discovered song list.
- Added “Choose another song” so multi-song ZIPs and folders can be revisited without rescanning the source.
- Hardened repeated song switching so decoded stems are disposed while the lightweight source session remains available.
Known limitations
Source sessions last only while this page remains open and browsers may revoke folder access after a reload. Switching ZIP songs reuses the saved index but still extracts and decodes the newly selected song. Selected compressed entries and decoded stems still consume memory.
Keyboard
Space plays or pauses. Home stops and returns to the beginning. Shortcuts are ignored while a control or text field has focus.
